Valve ended the second to last day of The International 2017 Dota 2 tournament with a bang, announcing two brand new heroes coming to the game. (Dota 2 Redeem Code in the way.)
The first hero is a stylish armadillo wielding a rapier reminiscent of Zorro.
This currently unnamed hero will likely be highly mobile, with the ability to disarm opponents and curl up into a ball, rolling around to initiate or escape.
Dota 2 Redeem Code Coming Soon
The second unnamed hero appears to be the rumored fourth spirit, Sylph. In the preview video Our freshly introduced armadillo friend tells her the forest is safe thanks to him, to which she replies, “ohhh, safe? It’s really not,” before attacking him with a minion.
The video ends with a teaser for the “Dueling Fates” update, likely dropping shortly after The International ends, as is usual tradition. The update presumably includes both new heroes, as well as major balance changes to the game.
The International 2017 has been packed full of announcements, including a brand new Dota 2 card game.
Dota 2 fans are excited about these two heroes and Valve said they will be released in this fall around december.
